Calling all Excel Ninjas...

I hope I can explain what I'm trying to do...

I have one column with a grand total. I have a 2nd column with a small number which will subtract from the first. I have a 3rd column which will show the result.

Now...I only want that calculation to happen *if* a forth column, with a drop down, says a particular status (Paid vs In-Process).

Is that possible and if so - how?
