And I can also share now that I was put on panel for a trial.

You'll recall we were talking yesterday morning about about how I really didn't have time to serve on a trial right now. I had been called to civil court and (never trust) spamlet said the trials only last a couple of days anyway so it's the same thing as two days in the room.
Well, they call names for a panel or two, I'm not called, I'm feeling good. Then they announce that they need to call two more panels and that this will pretty much clear the room so starting packing. The first set of names they call, they say, should meet the clerk in the lobby because we will be walking a few blocks to a different courthouse -- the criminal court called and needs some help from our room.
Of course my name is called almost immediately.
So we march over there, sit down, the judge enters, introduces herself, and tells us this a murder trial that will last about a month.
Never trust spamlet.
