I don't like the brawls but when the batter is left alone to deal with nine guys on the field he needs the backup of his teammates.

Fighting in all sports is ridiculous but things get heated during competition. When a batter gets hit by the pitcher and the catcher step up what's the batter to do? He can try walking away but sometimes that can't happen with the catcher or someone else getting in his face. If I'm his teammate he's not going it alone, I'm running out there to even the odds if shit goes down. At that point everyone comes out.
