from bb's, I still have been watching "grey's anatomy" and I was peeved about spoilers before last night/today. (spoilery)

I was 5 eps behind, because life; and I watched two in the past week or so. during the xfinity app playbacks (all still free, so abc knew they may well be watched by more than a few people, and the eps were also available for free via abc) there were ads for this week's episode that pretty much not only took your hand and led you to what I expect is the big spoiler that's all over but actually shoved it in the face of the viewer. the narration was something like: "there are some tv episodes that are so impactful they will always be remembered; and this week's 'grey's' is one of them." it had patrick dempsey being heroic and then kaboom.

the ads not only spoiled the outcome of the big plot of an entire episode+ that was leading to whether derek had cheated on meredith but also if they would still be together and he would go back to being gone. since he had been absent for several previous eps, for them to even show him in the ads was a spoiler in and of itself, let alone leading us to think it was likely he was going to be offed. ugh.

(please don't tell me details of anything, I will still watch - and soon because it sounds like I won't stay un-detailed-spoiler-free for long, I just will likely be grr-ing while doing so.)

I expect there may be random spoiler exposure when I am so behind on something, but for a network to choose to do a big one in ads like that is really annoying.

I'm planning to catch up on "grey's" and then AoS this weekend (I think I'm 3 behind), because I expect the latter will have spoilers out there, too. I haven't made it to any GoT yet, either, among other behind-ness. darned life, interfering with my entertainment. ;p
