True. But "didn't know Gray was there..." /= he didn't hear anything when he goes on to say that he told Homicide that he did hear banging.

I would think that you'd really have to throw yourself pretty damn hard against the side to do what happened, so I'm not saying that I buy that that's what happened, not by a long shot, but the story, at least as its written, doesn't debunk the earlier report like it thinks it does.
