Do the lamp jump, no thralls to worry about.

Of course, if you miss your jump you are screwed.
When bungie did the raid they showed a good way to do things as a fireteam. Everyone stick together, titan use bad juju, keep dropping blinding bubbles with blessings of light. I think that's what they did anyway. Warlock without the jump is two grenades (solar), sunbreakers, high discipline. Throw solar grenade on the lamp, stand in it to remove weight of darkness, do the same at the next lamp. Perhaps waiting a bit to recharge your grenades as well as take down your weight. I haven't done that solo, but I have made it to the end with one other member of my fireteam by doing that. the new warlock exotic piece will make that easier. Self-res will disorient nearby enemies. So if you die to a pack of thralls, self res and make a shield by using melee.
