I know nothing about babysitting but I could offer. I've never dealt with a baby before, I'd be so nervous.

I would just be hoping it slept the whole time. My nieces and nephew were all born out of state and I only saw them as babies once. :-(

I do think this is a very good idea. I could write the offer in the card or just mention it when I see her.
