The silly part is if they each get their own balls, why can't they make them exactly how they want them? It only matters if they have to use the same

ball. Then one may be disadvantaged by how the other sets the ball. The rule itself is just a remnant of a prior requirement that just never got changed. I've been saying it over and over again, but the rule serves no purpose.
