they have to allow teams enough time to travel. Sometimes if the cities they are going to are close

they will keep the times normal. But a team playing the Athletics on Thursday and the Yankees on Friday, will have to play an early game on Thursday

I know they play day games on travel days, that's very common. I just meant the 12:30 start is weird. -- nm
