Well, gave a presentation for work to the biggest crowd yet, about 150 people. I'm still a bit loopy from the antibiotics, so I know it wasn't my best

performance, but....
People really loved the video; saw some teary eyes, but also a lot of smiles, especially for Buster, our little three legged puppy, so I think I hit the mark with it!
The other organization that was there was a service dog organization for veterans and others that have PTSD; they brought out a Belgian Malinois (like Mater, one of the dogs I've posted pictures of on FB). He was so well trained, just amazing how well behaved he was. And, of course, he and I became friends right off the bat.
My Director and I joked that they were a hard act to follow, even though I presented before him.
Anyway, this was a client appreciation event for a very influential local financial planner/advisor, and we received close to $1,500 in donations at the event, and quite a few people said they'd be coming to our open house event at the new facility this weekend. So, fingers crossed, because these are some of the deepest pockets in the area!
