So for our EPL fans, is it possible that QPR could potentially just freefall as on top of being relegated, they could be blocked from Championship?

Just starting to read about and wrap my head around the idea that QPR racked up a huge fine last time they were in Championship but they got promoted to Premier League so they ignored it?

But now that they're headed back they have to pay said huge fine. Like huge to the point that they potentially may not be able to pay the fine.

At the same time, Championship officials rightly pissed at QPR are talking about that they are not ruling out any level of punishment if the fine is not paid. Including not letting them play...

Has any team ever been this screwed up that they managed to be in a place to drop multiple levels after a season?
