Best tip I can give is to check out this site...

If you look at his sample ceremonies, he breaks down a wedding ceremony and gives a bunch of examples of each part.

I used his outline and took his examples and then crafted them around the couples.

You could use his stuff as is for a wedding of people you don't know...but this being a friend of yours, you can definitely mold it to fit the couple.
