We are entering a season of anniversaries relative to my son's death last July (the last time I drove him to practice, the last time I heard him sing, the last time he had dinner with us) and everything seems to be ripe with subtext, meaning, memory. Thinking about others dealing with loss, whether actual or prospective, makes me feel very tender.
I am sorry for the loss you are facing. But I am glad to know you have loved ones to share the burden.
