snack reports: 1. nature box's dark chocolate pretzel pops are a skip.

they're like a larger sphere version of cocoa puffs cereal if made with a medium-dark cocoa. they have a stale pretzel texture outer edge and a hint of salt added, which adds to an unpleasant aftertaste. also, there's inconsistency in the spheres cocoa-coverage, with many of 'em having big bare spots. I've only eaten 5 pieces, and that's enough. not good. (my coworkers will eat almost anything - only 2 things in years that didn't get scarfed very quickly.)
(I paused my nb subscription for a while, then took advantage of a few-month discount plus special lower prices on some items recently. I like some offerings quite a bit, but I don't think many are worth their price, esp. for those of us fortunate to live where there are a number of stores with ok-priced healthier snack options available.) (oh, if anyone wants a free first box, toss me a gmail with the e-mail address to use - I think I can send a few offers.)
2. trader joe's muhammara dip/spread is decent - not as good as haig's, with it clearly not having as many walnut, the texture being somewhat too smooth, and its flavor not as complex. for its lower price and wider availability, it's a decent runner-up, though.
