Mike was basically on his own for the last four episodes, but he was able to survive by winning immunity. He did what he had to do to win.
We've seen other players be in an unwinnable position, being the last person left on their alliance, who have done whatever they could to to win by being an available vote and making sure they're not the next target.
If I can accept them as worthy winners, I think I have to accept Mike as well. (Of course, he was only in his unwinnable position because of his terrible social game. I think he was very fortunate that Carolyn seems to have had no social game either)
