Yeah with us, the booth guy always has a checklist that they go around looking at stuff and checking stuff off the list...

but they often have nothing to do, too. The expectation there is that they go find something to do during those time gaps. And with walkie talkie, that's easy. Of course people can and do go to some corner and dick off for a while on their phones. That definitely happens too. :-)
