FreedomPop (and Ting) had issues activating new devices from Sprint that I bought from Cellular Country so I had a good deal on an iPhone 4S straight from Ting which had no trouble.

Last bill on Ting (two iPhones, two kids): $52.97, previous $59.75

Can't complain about paying $30/phone for two iPhones.

Not as good as the $8 service from FreedomPop in terms of value but they have a more native phone experience and full features (zrfl353a8b8.ting.com)
