Interesting. I thought the artists got a higher percentage from amazon and itunes that that. No wonder artists can't make any money selling music

Remember, that's *royalty* from us to the artist for the cover. As an original artist, you'd be getting the 0.70 from 0.99 via Tunecore from iTunes

Sorry, when you said 0.70 cents I thought you meant less than a penny, but apparently you mean 70 cents. That makes more sense (and cents). -- nm

Ah. No, it's Spotify/streaming that really is kinda crappy. 1/10th of a penny usually per song. I'm sure it adds up when you're getting

Actually I think it's even less than that and it doesn't really add up. Last year's most streamed song (Avicci "Wake Me Up") was streamed 128 million
