I just want my CVS to meet one deadline they give me. Last week, I drop a prescription off at 3pm. I'm told 6pm will be fine for pickup.

I show up at 6:15. Not ready, 5 minutes they say...okay.
15 minutes later, I walk back up, "Oh, sorry, we'll expedite it, 5 minu...."
"No. You told me twice how long it would take and you've missed it both times. I am going to hold up your line until I get my stuff promised to me twice already and then I'm going to look for other pharmacies for my future needs."
I rarely make waves, but jesus christ, I don't think they ever make a promised timeline there.

The flip side of this is that today, the doctor called my rx in at 11:00 and I got the automated call at noon that it was ready for pickup.

my pharmacy staff is great. it's the corp. bullshit which gets to me. like when I have enuf pills to skip a month, the computer removes the script.

as hectic as we get sometimes, my staff doesn't believe me that stores in other parts of the country are absolute shitshows.
