recycling. I've decided that even clean copies of recent books aren't worth the organizing and trip to try to donate.

Libraries and non-profits are too picky. If they don't value these things and I don't value them any more than "But they're old" or "But someone took the time to research and write this, it's data" then I'm not going to waste any more time or space storing them.
(I will still have too many books next week, but... I just can't)
