I pretty much did this when I was on the road. I never went "home" and eventually rented out my house to someone else in my program.

mail is the hardest thing for sure. get a PO box before you ditch your apartment because they may require a physical address to give you a PO box in a town. note that I don't recommend sending everything to work because (it's not going to happen) what if you, like, stop working there in a fit of flames. you know? you need your mail.
and it's such a pain because you can paperless for 99.9% of things, right? but that .1% is the stuff you *really* need.
so you need an address, but it's pretty doable.
note that you would have to take all of your clothes everywhere with you. a small storage locker or even a shitty studio in a part of town you might otherwise not care for might be advisable if you have a lot of shoes. (this would solve your bank problem as well.)
