fun fact: american pharoah ran the fastest belmont in 23 years and the sixth fastest time ever since the race went to a mile and a half.....

but if you put this race up against secretariat's 1973 run, american pharoah would have lost by fifteen damn lengths. that's just how great ol' big red really was.
