I was thinking like sci-fi gravity from nowhere as that was how I read the original point from twug.

Are you referring to spin induced? That is indeed an artificial gravity but I admit that I wasn't counting that.

Though I did initially think of 2001 but discarded it as I threw it out as not being 'artificial' since spin induced is still based on natural phenomena

Or I am I really, really missing the point and part of Interstellar has truly artificial gravity?
