This is all stuff from the books, so it's not really reflected in the TV show.
Tyrion's hair is a mix of black and gold. He also has mis-matched eyes - one green and one black. Along with his dwarfism, this sets him apart from his golden siblings - but it's also a sign of mixed heritage. Part this, part that. Targaryens have ash blonde hair and
We also learn that the Mad King had a thing for Joanne - Tywin's wife and Tyrion's mother. There are lots of conflicting rumours - like that she was his mistress before she married Tywin, that he took liberites at the bedding, that she was dismissed from court by the Queen and sent back to King's Landing - and she visited King's Landing the year before Tyrion was born. We don't really know the truth about this.
And Tyrion has dreams of dragons every now and again.
None of this is conclusive, but they are all clues that point a certain way and make the best fit with "three dragons". There are other candidates, but none are major characters that we've followed from the first pages of the book.
And the reason it would suck is that it makes the whole Tyrion-Tywin arc kind of meaningless.
