I think it's "trash a guru" vs. "rave about a guru" - I just think of the negative as trash.

there are people who clearly spend hours and hours there obsessively being negative about one or more people. how pathetic does someone have to be to take it beyond the usual just posting crappy comments to videos? ick.
there's a flaw in the current set-up of yt/g+ where people can post comments and make it impossible for anyone to directly respond to them. people use multiple accounts and make yters have to manually block them. that has to be so annoying. :/ with as much money as there is in the mix, you'd think yt would stop that, but no.
