fwiw, there are a number of younger/newer acts that list the BBs, and "pet sounds" in particular as influences.-- nm

and I hear it in their work and random spotify-list works fairly regularly.
there are *a lot* of groups now that sound *a lot* like older ones. not just the above, but so much from the 80s and 90s. it amuses me.
