I kind of see it as the anti-Wipeout.
|
In Wipeout, you're expected to fail repeatedly and everyone is rooting for that. But there is always a winner in the end as you're competing against fellow competitors. In Ninja Warrior (at least, the last time I saw it) you are competing against the course. You only get one shot, are still expected to fail (though only the one time), but everyone is rooting for you to succeed. Which rarely happens.
