iggy azalea.
I read the story last night, and what a load of poopy poop it (mostly) is.
it should go without saying that I'm anti-iggy's crappy, bigoted, dumb comments (not to metnion her grammar, or lack thereof, ugh), and I have only been able to take her and her music in small doses, in part because of the super-duper high level of affectations; but the clearly non-objective content of this piece and zero questioning of the comments of some black performers tossing back a version of bigotry and exclusion/segregation themselves is just so gross.
in seeking it to link, I see that it's a style blog entry, not a news story. knowing that ahead of time would have helped some, but it makes me even more baffled that WaPo would choose this dreck to put on their e-cover. ugh. even as click-bait, something can be counter-productive when it makes readers cringe and get ticked-off.
