I think her reaction was the disappointment that the men didn't follow Stannis and that he wasn't the 'one ' that she thought.
I think it would be interesting If Stannis isn't dead because he would be a new character. A broken man that followed something that turned out to not be true. At least not yet. Could be a cool arc.
