It was fun, the effects were great and the movie had some decent scares, but not enough dinos eating people, too many stupid decisions, no effort to make the audience care for the characters, no real feeling that any of the major characters were ever in danger... so it's a very generous B-.
Also, I get the feeling that the Jurassic universe is going to go all Planet of the Apes on us. Jurassic V - militarised dinos. Jurassic VI - a world with dinos out of control.
