Also you have to consider the following:
-A majority of the Night's Watch is composed of criminals serving out their final sentencing. They are self interested and are probably just waiting for a good time to cut and run.
-Jon got elected and really started shaking things up from tradition. He's way younger than any of the other Lord commanders, he's a bastard, he's a Warg, and he "defected" to the wildings. Him accepting the wildlings across the wall would look super suspicious to the other members of the watch.
-If the watch turned on Mormont, what's to stop them from turning on an upjump like Snow?
