it's a good question because (book spoils, which are now irrelevant to the show, and show spoils)

In the books, they are found by Northmen in Stannis' group and taken to his camp.
But in the show, Stannis's forces have deserted or been routed, his allies are back at Castle Black and Stannis is dead (?)
