in which e.l. james loses some goodwill from fans - the new christian-view book only covers the 1st book of the original series. (kinda maybe spoil)

that it was just the first book was not mentioned in the (very little, but still, and I'm sure these early readers read more than I did) coverage I read/heard about it. I just remembered to go look at reviews, after seeing "50 shades" in the headline of one of the posts in the mcd's link below, as part of a compilation of news of the day. many amazon reviews contain verbal fist-shaking about it only being the first book, plus many don't like that he comes across like a jerk.

for that, I am not sure why that wouldn't have been expected for the first book, at least at its start, because part of the whole deal is that he changes because of her; and he clearly changes what he thinks about her, too. thinking his true good boy self will be there from the start isn't so smart.

(yahyah, take your "neither are many of the readers" comments elsewhere! ;p)
