And just to show that I'm not saying this as someone who thinks I'm at the End-Point on this. I continue to think about this issue. My thinking has evolved. We'll never be perfect, it's something we all have to work on, figuring out how to find our commonality rather than our differences but at least admit there's a problem and where a significant portion of it lies. This is an issue where a group of people are resisting progress and solutions because it requires them to admit their abjectly wrong, both in their history and their present and it's painful.
