He's the commander of the Kings Landing guard.
He betrays Ned Stark, and slaughters Ned's men. Then, he imprisons the Stark leader and ultimately causes his beheading.
He becomes Lord of Harrenhal and gets his own House, Slynt.
He murders a ton of bastard babies at Cersei's request.
Tyrion busted him for the betrayal and treacherous acts and sent him to the Wall.
He picked the wrong guy to align with at the Wall.
He was a coward in the line of duty during the battle at the Wall. Then, he refuses to follow an order to head to Greyguard.
He got beheaded by Jon Snow, the first of two karmic death cycles this season, the other being Stannis.
