I don't know if Pete knows this, but comic shops are all about the merch these days!

I remember fuming when a recent podcast I listen to remarked that book stores in England were once again profitable, but only because they were making money off non-book sales. They were derisive. They said something like "What are they selling... stationary?" Dude, comics going digital is the best thing to ever happen to nerds. Now everyone's shelves are cluttered with vinyl crap.
