i ditched all but about 10 dvds, and i haven't had a player, other than my laptop, in a couple years. with everything streaming and downloadable, and

considering i *never* watched them, i gave it all away.
(like i said, i have one, very short shelf, with the ones i really might actually feel like watching some day - real favourites i can watch again and again.)
