Windows 8 absoultely sucks and I hate it with the fire of 10,000 suns, even with a touch screen.

I get that, I use a desktop myself. Most people find a laptop to be just as good and saves a lot of space.

it was mandatory for me. the hp I bought in april (combo of touch and pad, and you can always add a regular mouse) has a drive in it.

honestly you might be surprised to find how useful the touch screen is. I use the touch pad and touch screen combined. I like it.
