Drafted #1 last year, agreed verbally to a $6.5m deal, but once his physical came back, the Astros were worried and dropped their offer to $5m.

He refused to sign it; and almost immediately hurt the exact part the Astros were worried about. He got drafted #17 this year and agreed to a deal.

JUNE 22: The bonus is for $2,513,280.

So...he got about half of what he turned down last year.

Just...sign...the damn contracts.
