The Braves effectively bought a first round pick for $9 million. It's theoretically worthy $20 million according to the calcs yet (literally) 90% of high-ceiling pitching arms never reach a WAR of 1 in the majors.
So, nobody can believe Arizona made the trade yet there's a real chance they did something extremely smart.
