things come and go so much that it's a crapshoot what will be available, unless what you like is a narrow slice of really popular content. licensing costs so much more that the libraries available (of older stuff in particular) are worse than they were for vhs and dvd. it's too costly for these companies to keep libraries of stuff that doesn't get rented much. thhat was not the case for dvd or vhs.
