The boss is a featured speaker at the rally in downtown Portland at noon today. Most of the staff is going on our lunch hour.

My thought: "I dunno ... too hot ... who wants to stand on a brick plaza underneath this goddamn sun ... maybe I should just use the lunch hour to brush up on 14th Amendment cases the past ten years and really dig into Kennedy's opinion ... "
