I'm a bad gay when it comes to these things.

I've had more than my fill of pride parades, public rallies and protests, candlelight vigils, rubber chicken benefit dinners, etc. etc. etc.
I'm going to go celebrate over dinner and drinks with a bunch of longtime friends and fraternity brothers who have been doing the hard work of grassroots advocacy, campaign work, and grunt level volunteering to get here.
If I went to the rally, I'd just feel out of place.
