I look for beyond anecdotal, for reliable/repeatable (to a degree)/with standards and actual evidence when it comes to treatments.

there aren't across the board standards for it. doctors/practictioners come up with their own formulas and they often combine it with other therapies, so it's unclear it always actually works on its own. and, again, even those who say it works have that for very specific issues.
for the cost (and most insurance doesn't cover it because it's super experimental), I need more before I subject myself to more pain than I already have.
