Posted this on FB last night. The wait for the Canadian flag that flew on Parliament Hill is now 48 years.

The same article last year said it was 42 years. I waited about 12 for my flag. At this point, this is a generational investment.

I think the U.S. Capitol has flag fliers whose sole job is to raise and lower many flags on the grounds every day
