What sentence would you give him if you were judge and jury?

I never know what the standard penalty for these cases should be.
If he's drunk, I can see his mind thinking "Someone just hit me in the face so I'm justified in hitting back." but drunk isn't an excuse, and even though he was provoked there's no reasonable fear of attack from her. He was clearly in control of the situation and took a hard shot at someone who was relatively defenseless.
If he threw one punch and then walked away... I don't necessarily want to throw everyone in jail for fighting, but... 30 days in jail?
