Here's what I did:
We know
3/7 a = 1/8 b
So
24/7 a = b
We also know
a+b=93
If we replace b with its a equivalent:
a + 24/7 a = 93 or 7/7 a + 24/7 a = 93 or 31/7 a = 93
So a = 93*7/31 = 21
b is then easy to find: 93-21=72
(what I don't remember is how to write equation on a computer)
