I was just admiring their dominance yesterday. This one family has produced two historic talents.
As for the rankings, they reward players who participate more. There's a reason Serena used to openly taunt Baby Safin about being the #1 player in the world.
Simply stated, Graf on her best day gets destroyed by Venus *or* Serena on their best days.
