Unsung family IT support horror story - my Grandma (and her gradually worsening dementia) forgot she had a facebook account already, and made a new

The original one, with hundreds of family and friends, is linked to her old work email which no longer exists.

I just spent 90 minutes logging into facebook in two different browsers, using her old (more used) facebook account to friend all the new friends she made with her new (far less used) facebook account, then unfriending everyone in the new facebook account.

Reset the login for the old account to match what she'd made for the new one (after tethering her new one to a made-up gmail account).

No one will understand the work I went through to do this, except maybe some of my own kids.

I'm going to bed now.
