Dan Aykroyd will be in the Ghostbusters sequel/reboot.

Seems to suggest that Ghostbusters has franchised and this group of women is just one of those franchises. It's pretty much how I envisioned a Ghostbusters 3 sequel, except my vision was more James Franco/Seth Rogen.
